Before You Pay Someone to Improve Your AI Visibility, Find Out What AI Actually Says About Your Business

Businesses are already spending thousands of dollars trying to improve how they appear in AI generated answers.

You do not have to take my word for it. The companies selling these services publish their prices.

iPullRank offers an AI Search Strategy program starting at $15,000 per month. The program includes AI search measurement, content analysis, keyword analysis, and strategic planning for improving visibility in AI search.

Revv Growth offers a GEO + Content Starter plan for $3,000 per month and a Growth plan for $8,000 per month. Its services include GEO strategy, AI focused content, entity optimization, citation optimization, and performance monitoring. Revv Growth also says GEO services generally range from $3,000 to $25,000 per month depending on the engagement.

MADX Digital offers generative engine optimization services for SaaS companies starting at $2,500 per month. Its work includes GEO strategy, content, links, and efforts designed to increase visibility in systems including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI search experiences.

Digital Elevator sells AI Visibility programs differently. A single sprint starts at $3,000. A full three pillar program typically costs $9,000 to $24,000 or more, while ongoing off site campaigns start at $3,495 per 30 day cycle. Its program covers technical signals, content designed to be cited, third party mentions, citation tracking, and AI referral measurement.

These are not four companies selling exactly the same service.

That matters.

Some concentrate heavily on content. Some include technical work. Some track citations. Some work on entity optimization. Some include off site mentions. Some sell strategy, execution, measurement, or combinations of all three.

So taking four numbers, calculating an average, and declaring that the “average cost of AI visibility” would be misleading.

What the published prices do establish is simpler:

Businesses can spend thousands of dollars per month trying to improve their visibility and representation in AI systems.

I am not saying those services are overpriced.

I am not saying they do not work.

I have not hired these companies, audited their client work, or independently tested the results they claim.

And I do not compete with them.

They sell services intended to improve something.

I sell an independent analysis of what is there before you decide what needs improving.

Before You Try to Change What AI Says, Find Out What It Says

Suppose you are considering spending $3,000 a month on GEO.

Or $8,000.

Or $15,000.

There is a question I would want answered first.

What do the AI systems currently understand about your business?

Not what your website says about your business.

Not what you believe they should understand.

Not what an optimization company says it is trying to make them understand.

What do the AI systems themselves actually say?

Does ChatGPT correctly explain what your company does?

Does Gemini understand your specialty?

Does Claude put your business in the right category?

Do the three models agree?

Do they understand where you operate?

Do they understand who you serve?

Do they associate your company with the products or services that actually matter to the business?

Do they confuse you with another company?

Do they repeat outdated information?

Do they know enough about your business to distinguish it from competitors?

And when someone asks for a business like yours, do they consider yours?

Those are not optimization questions.

They are starting point questions.

There Is Value in an Independent Answer

Companies selling AI visibility services understandably need to measure their work.

Digital Elevator, for example, describes citation baselines, AI referral attribution, ongoing citation monitoring, and before and after measurements as part of its program. Revv Growth includes tracking and performance monitoring. iPullRank includes an AI Search Measurement Plan.

There is nothing wrong with that.

But there is also value in having someone outside that relationship look independently at the business.

That does not require the agency to be wrong.

Their measurements might be completely accurate.

Their strategy might be excellent.

Their work might be producing exactly the results the client wanted.

An independent analysis answers a different question:

What do ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude actually understand about this business when someone who is not selling the optimization examines them?

I have no reason to tell you your agency is doing a great job.

I have no reason to tell you your agency is doing a terrible job.

I am not trying to take their contract.

I do not have an optimization package waiting for you at the end of the report.

My job is to analyze what the models say and document what I find.

That Is the Frank Masotti AI Business Understanding Report

The Frank Masotti AI Business Understanding Report is a manual analysis of how ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude understand your business.

I examine the business across all three models.

I document what each model says.

Then I compare them.

I look at category clarity, recognition patterns, recommendation visibility, interpretation drift, conflicting information, missing information, and differences between the models.

The result is a written report showing the business those AI systems currently understand.

It is not GEO.

It is not AI SEO.

It is not an optimization campaign.

It is not a promise to make ChatGPT recommend you.

And it is not the beginning of a monthly contract with me.

It is an independent analysis.

The Cost Is $495 Once

The Frank Masotti AI Business Understanding Report costs $495.

One time.

Compare that with some of the published prices above.

Three months of MADX Digital’s starting GEO engagement would be at least $7,500.

Three months of Revv Growth’s Starter plan would be $9,000. Its Growth plan would be $24,000.

Three months of iPullRank’s starting AI Search Strategy price would be $45,000.

Again, those numbers do not mean those services are too expensive.

They are doing substantially different work from what I do.

That is precisely the point.

If a business is considering spending thousands of dollars trying to change its presence in AI systems, spending $495 first to independently understand the current situation is a very different purchase.

Then You Decide What Happens

Once I deliver the report, my job is finished.

If you already have an agency, give it to them.

If you are considering hiring an agency, use the report when you talk to them.

If you have an internal marketing team, give it to them.

If you want to compare my findings with an existing AI visibility dashboard, do that.

If the report uncovers problems and you want someone to fix them, hire whoever you believe should do the work.

If the report shows that the AI systems understand your business extremely well and you decide not to change anything, that is your decision too.

I am not selling the next step.

I am selling the information you can use to decide what the next step should be.

Know What You Are Starting With

AI visibility has become a service businesses can spend thousands of dollars a month trying to improve.

Maybe that investment makes sense for your business.

Maybe it does not.

But before you pay someone to change what AI systems understand about your company, there is one thing worth knowing:

What do they understand right now?

That is what the Frank Masotti AI Business Understanding Report answers.

ChatGPT.

Gemini.

Claude.

One independent analyst.

One report.

$495. One time.

Then you decide what comes next.
